Amida; Amida Buddha: Ang Japanese pronunciation ng pangalan ni Amitabha Buddha (walang hanggan na liwanag) o Amitayus (walang hanggan na buhay). Si Amida ay supreme sa iba pang mga countless na buddha sa cosmos, at lahat ng mga buddha na nabanggit ay nakamit ang buddhahood sa pamamagitan ng kanyang kapangyarihan.
